Breeding Exceptional Pura Raza Espanola (P.R.E./Andalusian) Horses
We are so happy and proud to share the horses of Paradise Mountain Ranch with you! 'PMR' has always been a labor of love and passion! It began in 2005 with the fulfillment of a dream when we went to Spain to purchase the horses that would be the foundation of our breeding program. We searched all over Spain and came home with 9 outstanding horses! We were thrilled to bring two incredible stallions, Justiciero and Sonador (now a gelding), and 2 mares; the amazing powerhouse Toledana, and the ethereal "unicorn", Urana, as well as several wonderful youngsters.
Much has changed in the years since. Little did we know the affect these magical horses would have on our lives! Their place in our home and hearts has become so much more than we could ever have imagined! They have gifted us with remarkable foals, which we having lovingly hand raised, and have shared their charm, grace, strength, kindness, intelligence and patience with us.
Their roles have expanded beyond breeding and showing to be co-facilitators in Horse Wisdom, a non profit organization which provides Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, Growth and Learning programs for a variety of people and issues. The breed is well suited to this work given its exceptionally gentle and sensitive nature!
